So we’ve got an event lined up for the month of May. Instead of our usual social get-together’s, we’re going for a dose of educational student development! :)

We’re getting Dr. Ali (the Education Attache of the Malaysian Students Dept of Australia) to come in and give a talk titled Towards Professionalism in a Globalized World, which might help us young university students with tips on transitioning into professional adults.

We’re also having MSA member and post-graduate student Ema Izati Zul Kepili share her experiences of 5 years living and studying in Melbourne in a talk titled Applying Melbourne life in Malaysian culture.

To cap off all this enlightening education, your MSA committee is also providing complimentary hot drinks, biscuits and sandwiches.

DATE : Wednesday, 21st May 2008

TIME : 4.30pm – 6.30pm

PLACE : Glenn College Davidson Room

This event is open to La Trobeians one and all, so please do come and bring your friends! Hope to see you there.

Salam & Good day,

I’d like to thank you guys for the terrific effort in providing us a good activity like this. Tho small, it was very useful.

Thanks team.

Salam to you, Kak Ema.

Your very welcome. And thank you for coming and giving such a good talk. The turnout was actually better than we expected and people seemed to like it. Pats on the back all around. Thanks again!
